Job summary

Good Egg Recruitment Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our Engineering & OEM division to win new OEM customers, develop markets and drive incremental business across engineered components and HVAC products.

Working with an established Account Management team, you will build a strong sales pipeline, negotiate with technical decision-makers and coordinate with engineering and operations to deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Development within engineering, manufacturing or a technical B2B environment.
• A strong track record of winning new business.
• Understand engineering drawings, specifications and product development.
• Confident negotiating with commercial and technical decision-makers.
• Commercially aware, proactive and results-driven.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Full UK drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new OEM customers and business opportunities.
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with procurement, engineering and commercial decision-makers.
• Understand customer technical requirements and co-ordinate with engineering and operations.
• Develop opportunities across HVAC, heat pumps, cylinders, engineered tube products and related markets.
• Develop proposals, quotations and commercial solutions for new customers.
• Coordinate samples, trials, approvals and new product introduction.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure profitable new business.
• Work alongside Account Managers to develop additional opportunities within existing accounts.
• Drive new revenue, margin and market growth.
