Job summary
Ipsum Utilities Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager in Wakefield to lead the Private Networks Division, driving delivery quality and team performance. You will oversee health and safety compliance, provide technical direction, and collaborate with operations, project management and service teams to maximise utilisation.
You will bring a strong background in HV/LV electrical systems, resource planning and customer-focused project delivery, with a track record of improving engineering
Qualifications
- HV/LV electrical systems knowledge required.
- Experience leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong health and safety leadership and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of engineers within the Private Networks Division.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture.
- Deliver high-quality technical work across projects and services.
- Support sales with technical input to define customer solutions.
- Coordinate with Operations, Project Management and Service teams to optimise resources.
- Improve engineering processes through lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
