Ipsum is offering a fantastic opportunity to join our Private Networks Division as an Engineering Manager in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You will lead a high-performing engineering team, drive health and safety compliance, and ensure high-quality technical delivery across projects and services for customers with demanding requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, or equivalent).
• IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Experience in a technical engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of HV and LV electrical systems.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and solve complex problems.
• Experience managing resources in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers within the Private Networks Division.
• Take overall responsibility for health and safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure high-quality technical delivery across projects and services.
• Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and helping define the right customer solutions.
• Work closely with Operations, Project Management, and Service teams to ensure sufficient skilled resources and maximise utilisation.
• Improve engineering processes through lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
