Job summary

SP Electricity North West is recruiting a Delivery Engineer to join the North Operations engineering team. You will manage faults, maintenance, inspections and construction on the HV/LV distribution network to meet time, cost and quality targets.

You will apply new technology and participate in trials, with HV switching on underground and overhead networks, and LV fault management to reduce customer interruptions.

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• LV and HV authorised (essential) preferably to SAP with Field Control at 11kV.
• Demonstrable LV fault location and repair experience (desirable).
• Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice and Industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Faults, maintenance, inspections and construction on the HV/LV distribution network.
• Deliver works on time, to budget and to quality targets while adhering to safety regulations.
• Carry out HV switching on underground and overhead networks and LV fault management.
• First-fit of automated equipment on LV faults to reduce customer interruptions (CIs) and minutes lost (CMLs).
