Job summary

BGEN Ltd is seeking a skilled LV Engineering manager to lead and develop the engineering team across electrical design and field execution. You will drive performance reviews, set objectives, and mentor engineers while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires managing LV control panels and MCCs, with experience in the UK Water or Utilities sector preferred. A strong communication style and collaborative leadership approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards and quality requirements.
• Experience with LV control panels and MCCs.
• Experience in UK Water or Utilities sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management for all LV Engineering colleagues, conduct performance reviews, set objectives.
• Champion wellbeing, engagement and retention; manage people-related processes.
• Mentor the engineering team, plan resources, balance workloads and monitor capacity.
• Support succession planning and uphold quality standards; contribute to audits and reviews.
• Maintain documentation and embed safety in all activities; collaborate with wider teams.
• Contribute to business planning, growth and coordination meetings.
