Job summary

Freedom is seeking an HV/LV Electrical Manager in Wakefield to lead and coordinate high and low voltage electrical operations across diverse projects. You will oversee installation, maintenance and commissioning, drive project delivery within safety and budget, and support bids and tender activity.

The role requires strong leadership, HSQE knowledge and stakeholder management, with a focus on building client relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HV/LV electrical operations in utilities, construction, or industrial settings.
• Strong commercial awareness with estimation and bid preparation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management abilities.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements and electrical standards.
• Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations including install, maintenance and commissioning.
• Manage project delivery to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Support commercial activities such as estimation, tender prep and bids.
• Ensure HSQE standards are followed across projects and teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and development to operational staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and resource allocation including labour, plant and materials.
• Develop and implement best-practice processes and procedures.
• Utilize modern tech and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Foster a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
