Job summary

Civil Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary delivery on major projects within long‑term frameworks. The role focuses on technical ownership, safe delivery, and ongoing professional development within a renowned UK infrastructure contractor.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree and Chartered Engineer status, or are progressing toward chartership, with proven leadership of diverse engineering teams and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership.
Strong Engineering Management capability to lead diverse technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design delivery across full project lifecycle.
Champion health, safety and environmental performance across engineering activities.
Support development and assurance of permanent works solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, project teams and supply chain partners.
Provide technical guidance to engineers and ensure construction information is accurate and aligned with programme requirements.
Coordinate materials, plant and technical resources to support delivery.
Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements and key project documentation.
Ensure quality standards through inspection, testing and site verification.
