Job summary

Fyba Talent is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams across water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the UK. You will direct delivery from feasibility through handover, ensure technical solutions meet client, regulatory, commercial and quality requirements, and act as a senior engineering contact for clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Process engineering degree, with Chartered Engineer preferred, and extensive water sector

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred.
• Significant water/wastewater infrastructure experience.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a D&C environment.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 and commercial processes.
• Experience delivering UK water company projects.

• Lead multidisciplinary Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, ICA and Process engineering teams.
• Provide technical governance and assurance across multiple projects.
• Oversee design delivery through to construction and handover.
• Manage technical risk and ensure regulatory/commercial/quality compliance.
• Support NEC contract processes including early warnings, compensation events and variations.
• Act as senior engineering contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive value engineering, innovation, BIM and sustainable design.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will oversee engineering delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring technical solutions meet client, regulatory, commercial and quality requirements.
