Job summary

Cavendish House is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of machine setters and maintenance engineers, ensuring safe, efficient production with minimal disruption across multiple product portfolios.

You will drive preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvements, while maintaining Engineering Records and ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory compliance, including DSEAR/ATEX knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent.
• Significant process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience undertaking HAZOP and process risk assessment.
• Knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX requirements.”

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of machine setters and maintenance engineers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis to minimise disruption.
• Ensure production safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvements and productivity initiatives (cycle times, capacity).
• Maintain engineering records and documentation.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Regulatory compliance across operations.
