CV Consulting Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring reliability of all production and site-critical equipment. You will drive preventative maintenance, promote a proactive engineering culture, and uphold Health & Safety standards to support operational excellence across the site.

You will report to the Site Manager and be responsible for KPI delivery, technical leadership, continuous improvement, on-site contractors, budget

Engineering Manager, Milton Keynes, Salary £65,000, Bonus & package

As Engineering Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities of a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring the reliability and availability of all production and site-critical equipment and be responsible for the smooth running of the Engineering Department. You’ll drive preventative maintenance strategies, promote a proactive engineering culture, and champion the highest standards of Health & Safety to support operational excellence across the site. You’ll be responsible for maximising equipment reliability and managing CAPEX projects, and ensuring engineering excellence across a 24/7 operation.

The Engineering Manager will report to the Site Manager and have strong proven leadership skills, man management and support experience and be responsible for:

• Coordinating work within the teaAdhering and delivering on KPI’s e.g. Planned maintenance, Health and Safety and quality
• Providing technical leadership – guiding the team on a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure
• Continuous improvements Projects
• Contractors on site
• Budget Management
• Capex Projects

The successful Engineering Manager must have:

• Experience of Leading an engineering function and engineering personnel
• Possess appropriate qualifications applicable to an Electrical Engineering discipline ( NVQ , C&G, HND or HNC )
• Track record of improving department performance and creating and implementing new processes/ways of working
• Experience of working within a FMCG environment
