Job summary

Workforce Unlimited is seeking an experienced Engineer Team Leader for a permanent role in the UK. You will lead a multi-skilled maintenance team responsible for a wide range of FMCG machinery and systems, including packaging equipment and gas-fired ovens, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and drive planned and reactive maintenance, parts ordering, and safety compliance, while supporting site modernisation and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in FMCG environments.
• Strong focus on problem-solving and equipment reliability.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a shift-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on FMCG equipment including packaging machinery.
• Lead and motivate the engineering team reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
• Order parts through stores and drive improvements to safety and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure health and safety standards.
