Job summary

CV Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager for a prominent FMCG site in the Bishops Stortford / Harlow area. The role blends strategic engineering leadership with hands-on site delivery to transform maintenance from reactive to planned and proactive.

You will lead up to 6 direct and 10 indirect reports, shape the engineering strategy, enhance CMMS usage, close compliance gaps and drive capability development through structured training and ongoing development plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, food or process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 6 direct and 10 indirect reports.
• Develop and deliver the engineering strategic plan.
• Move the site from reactive to planned maintenance culture.
