Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager in Wrexham to lead the maintenance and engineering function. The role focuses on safe, reliable operation of equipment, utilities and facilities, with strategic leadership across maintenance and compliance.

You will drive KPI reporting, manage budgets and resources, and build a culture of proactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and team development within the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance/engineering leadership role, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering qualifications are required.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, HSE and food safety engineering standards.
• Data-driven with experience in CI tools and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Oversee maintenance, asset care and compliance across the site.
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and contractor performance.
• Drive improvements in reliability and OEE via preventative maintenance.
• Coach and develop the maintenance team to professionalise the function.
