Job summary

MHR is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of Software Engineers and Test Engineers, helping build the next generation of our cloud-based HR and Payroll platform. You'll combine people leadership with technical influence, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, test-driven development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring software engineers within Agile teams.
• Strong software engineering background with a passion for quality and test-driven development.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Interest in cloud technologies and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional engineering team.
• Drive a culture of quality, test-driven development and continuous improvement.
• Support the delivery of scalable, maintainable software and architecture.
• Partner with Product and Scrum teams to deliver against product roadmaps.
• Remove delivery obstacles and improve team effectiveness.
• Support recruitment, talent development and succession planning.
