Job summary

Only FE is seeking an Engineering Instructor to deliver Fabrication and Welding theory and practical sessions to apprenticeship learners at the Blackburn facility. You will harness industry experience to inspire and equip the next generation of engineers with skills and professional behaviours.

Working with learners from diverse backgrounds, you will plan engaging lessons, provide constructive feedback and support apprentices toward their qualifications, while helping to grow our engineering

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
• Must hold Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification and Assessor Award or willingness to work towards
• Current knowledge of engineering sector and Fabrication & Welding

Salary Business Support, £30,500 - £32,500 plus up to £3,500 market premium if hold a minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification in a relevant subject area alongside relevant industry experience.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is passionate about sharing their industry experience and helping others succeed.

You will need to have:

• Level 2 Qualification in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
• Level 3 Engineering qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification and Assessor Award, or a willingness to work towards achieving these qualifications.
• Current knowledge of the engineering sector and recent industry experience in Fabrication and Welding.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to motivate, support and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience.
