Job summary

McLaren Racing offers two-year placements in engineering, spanning Aerodynamics, Design, Racing and Performance in the United Kingdom. You will apply your technical knowledge to meaningful engineering challenges and contribute to team performance during race weekends.

You will work with a collaborative, high-performing team, develop practical solutions, communicate progress to stakeholders and learn from colleagues while supporting the team across the season.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a scientific discipline with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and general computing proficiency for engineering environments.
• Interest in developing practical engineering solutions; CAD knowledge is useful.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a scientific discipline, with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent.
• General computing skills and software knowledge relevant to engineering environments.
• An interest in developing practical engineering solutions, supported by strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant technical tools, such as CAD software for design-based placements, would be useful.
• A passion for motorsport; previous motorsport experience is welcome but not essential.
