Job summary

McLaren Racing is offering engineering placements across Aerodynamics, Design, Racing and Performance for a two-year program starting in September 2027. You will apply technical knowledge to real engineering challenges and contribute to team performance while supporting race weekends and reporting progress to stakeholders.

We seek proactive individuals with a strong engineering background, computing skills and an interest in practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Engineering, Mathematics or scientific discipline degree with a minimum 2:1.
• General computing skills and software knowledge relevant to engineering environments.
• Interest in developing practical engineering solutions with strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of CAD tools is useful for design-based placements.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a scientific discipline, with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent.
• General computing skills and software knowledge relevant to engineering environments.
• An interest in developing practical engineering solutions, supported by strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant technical tools, such as CAD software for design-based placements, would be useful.
• A passion for motorsport; previous motorsport experience is welcome but not essential.
