Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Programme Manager in Engineering and Electrical to join the Slough and Langley College team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role combines classroom teaching with management across Engineering and Electrical curricula, delivering 18 hours of teaching weekly and 7 hours of administration. A Level 4 teaching qualification plus Level 2 English/Maths is required, with strong mechanical/engineering background and CAD/CAM proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 teaching qualification alongside Level 2 English and Mathematics.
• Industrial engineering experience and FE curriculum planning.
• Hands-on workshop competency operating drills, lathes, milling machines and laser cutters.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 18 teaching hours per week on Engineering courses, including new T Level design and development.
• Manage team performance through staff reviews and drive student retention and achievement.
• Develop the curriculum offer to align with local industry needs using college workshops and equipment.
