Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Limited is seeking a Curriculum Manager in Mechanical Engineering to provide leadership across the mechanical engineering provision. Reporting to the Head of School for Engineering, the role combines managing study programmes, leading lecturers, and developing courses to meet sector and employer needs.

Qualifications

• Full Level 5 teaching qualification.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or related field.
• Substantial industry or teaching experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong organisational and team leadership skills.
• The ability to inspire and support learners at all levels.

About the role

An education provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Curriculum Manager to provide leadership across their mechanical engineering provision. Reporting to Head of School for Engineering, this role combines managing study programmes, providing leadership for a team of lecturers and developing the courses.

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management, supporting a team of lecturers and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll help learners progress from foundation levels through to advanced study, ensuring your provision remains relevant to the sector and to employer needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
