Pioneer Selection Ltd in Penrith, Cumbria, is seeking an Engineer Supervisor to lead a small team and hands-on troubleshoot a range of automated production equipment.

Salary £49,500 plus benefits, 4 on, 4 off shifts (2 Days, 2 Nights); the role combines maintenance leadership with opportunities to develop management skills in a market-leading manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Hands-on maintenance including pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a factory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 (1 Engineer & 2 Production Operatives) and carry out maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventive maintenance.
• Maintain fully automated production machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

Job Role of the Engineer Supervisor

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineer Supervisor

• Either Electrical or Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a factory.

Requirements for the Engineer Supervisor

• Be willing to be a Hands-On Engineering Supervisor.
• Recognised engineering qualifications either Electrical or Mechanical.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineer Supervisor

• Experience working as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a Industrial Manufacturing environment.
