Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting an Engineering Supervisor for our New Broughton site. You will lead a shift-based team of engineers, driving safety, performance and engineering standards while overseeing electrical maintenance on automated production machinery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical fault-finding experience, a recognised electrical engineering qualification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Engineering Supervisor

Location: New Broughton

Salary: £56,000

Shift: 12 Hour Days & Nights

Overview

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

This role will also involve supporting and leading a team of engineers on shift, helping drive performance, safety, continuous improvement and engineering standards across the factory.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
• Previous experience leading or supervising engineers within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience within food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
