Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for a New Broughton site. The role involves electrical maintenance, fault-finding and preventative maintenance on a range of automated production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

You will also lead and support a team of engineers on shift, driving performance, safety and continuous improvement across the factory.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on fully automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency.

Shift: 12 Hour Days & Nights

Job Role of the Engineering Supervisor

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

This role will also involve supporting and leading a team of engineers on shift, helping drive performance, safety, continuous improvement and engineering standards across the factory.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Supervisor

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.


• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.


• Previous experience leading or supervising engineers within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Engineering Supervisor

• Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.


• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.


• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to support team performance, mentoring and shift coordination.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineering Supervisor

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.


• Experience within food manufacturing, bakery or FMCG environments.


• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
