Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I in Erith is recruiting a Rail Engineer to join our rail tools and equipment service team. You will help keep service schedules up to date and repair faulty rail equipment to ensure high availability for hire.

We are looking for strong mechanical skills, the ability to use tools effectively, and a willingness to work weekends. Training such as PTS and BTA will be provided to support your development and ESG objectives.

• Undertake PTS, BTA training.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers.

Based in the depot, the Rail Engineer is a key role to Speedy's supply of rail tools and equipment; ensuring service schedules are up to date and repairing faulty rail equipment as necessary to ensure it remains available for hire.
