Speedy Group in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an Engineer - Rail to join the depot-based team. The role focuses on maintaining service schedules for rail tools and equipment and repairing faults to ensure continuous availability for hire.

Requirements include PTS certification and eligibility for NWR medical, with a 42-hour week and a shift roster that includes two weekends of four. Hybrid/remote work is not indicated; the role emphasizes on-site presence.

Responsibilities

Based in the depot, the Rail Engineer is a key role to Speedy's supply of rail tools and equipment; ensuring service schedules are up to date and repairing faulty rail equipment as necessary to ensure it remains available for hire.
