Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in Overstone offers a graduate engineering scheme that places you with our build teams to gain hands-on experience assembling critical components and working on mechanical, electronic, and hybrid products.

You will receive training on Siemens NX CAD, engage in design activities, and contribute to continuous improvements while collaborating across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Automotive degree.
• Ideally experience with Siemens NX or Visual Basic.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our experienced build teams on a variety of mechanical, electronic, and hybrid products.
• Gain hands-on experience assembling and building critical components.
• Receive training on Siemens NX CAD software and be involved in design activities.
• Participate in designing and procuring innovative ideas to improve our build process and procedures.
• Engage with the team to suggest continuous improvements to product reliability and quality.
• Collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where no two days are the same.
• Bring fresh ideas and innovative thinking to help solve engineering challenges and enhance our competitive edge.
