Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in the UK invites ambitious engineers to join a scheme focused on building the next generation Power Unit. You will map BOMs to kits, coordinate stores, and support Engine Build and Project Management while developing CAD skills in Siemens NX and using the Faults System.

Assessment Centre in March 2027; scheme starts August/September 2027; requires a minimum 2:1 in Mechanical, Motorsport or Automotive Engineering; motorsport experience and passion for

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 in Mechanical, Motorsport or Automotive Engineering.
• Active involvement in motorsport or powertrain assembly is valued.
• Excellent CAD understanding and ability to map components.

Responsibilities

• Map each Power Unit component from a BOM to kits for engine assembly.
• Identify and orchestrate stores requirements for builds at stages.
• Collaborate with Automation, Engine Build, Project Management and Product Design.
• Develop CAD tools and processes to support faster, more reliable builds.
