Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth is seeking a Build Systems Placement to develop CAD skills in Siemens NX and support tooling and process improvements. You will map Power Unit components from BOMs to assembly kits and work with cross-functional teams across engine build, project management and design.

You will contribute to 2026 regulation changes and gain a rounded motorsport hardware experience within a high-performance environment, backed by a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• Strong understanding of CAD packages and engineering drawing practices.
• Active involvement in motorsport or powertrain assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map Power Unit components from BOM to assembly kits across build stages.
• Support tooling, processes and NX-based CAD tasks with rigor.
• Collaborate with Engine Build, Project Management and Product Design teams.
