Job summary

Mercedes AMG HPP invites you to join its Early Careers internship program at our state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Northamptonshire. You’ll work with Formula 1 engineers on mechanical, electronic, and hybrid systems, gaining hands-on experience and collaborating with senior teams.

You’ll receive Siemens NX CAD training, exposure to real F1 drawings, and contribute to innovative design and process improvements while learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Automotive degree.
• Experience with Siemens NX or Visual Basic preferred.
• Curious, tenacious and driven; thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with build teams on mechanical, electronic, and hybrid products.
• Gain hands-on experience assembling components.
• Receive training on Siemens NX CAD software and be involved in design activities.
• Assist in designing and procuring ideas to improve build processes.
• Suggest continuous improvements to reliability and quality.
• Collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Bring innovative thinking to solve engineering challenges.
