Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Elton House Care Home in Watford. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator by delivering a wide range of activities to engage residents and enhance their physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Shifts are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with weekend availability required. You will help maintain a safe environment, support the team, report changes in residents’ condition, and help build links with the local

Qualificações

• Have effective communication skills, verbal and written.
• Understand how interaction affects residents' wellbeing.
• Have a positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to stimulating activities.
• Experience with older people in a residential dementia setting.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to the professional image of the home.
• Report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager and care staff.
• Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
• Help establish links with the local community (schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to promote intergenerational activity.
