Job summary

Archer Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Sales & Proposals Engineer for a well-established engineering consultancy serving the global energy sector. The role focuses on selling consultancy services, digital products, and training across the UK & Ireland, with responsibilities including client visits, pipeline development, proposal preparation, and CRM upkeep.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will cover for peak periods, attend meetings, seminars and trade shows, and contribute to sales planning,

Responsibilities

• Actively promoting and selling the Company's products and services within the UK & Ireland
• Identifying, developing and closing new client business, building a strong sales pipeline for the region
• Visiting, growing and developing existing client accounts within the region
• Supporting the development of new products, services, industry diversification and Company marketing material
• Preparing proposals for both regional and international business, and following up with clients through to closure
• Maintaining the CRM system and Proposals Planner to accurately reflect all ongoing sales activity and pipeline
• Attending client meetings, seminars, exhibitions and trade shows, and supporting colleagues at presentations, visits and training courses
• Providing regular sales status updates to the Sales Manager
• Covering for the Sales Manager during busy periods and holidays
