Job summary

Clarke Energy is hiring a Senior Proposals Engineer in Knowsley. The role involves turning customer enquiries into commercially competitive and technically robust proposals across engineering and sales interfaces.

You will coordinate technical, commercial, and operational inputs, collaborate with various teams, and manage supplier quotations to deliver strong bid submissions for energy resilience and sustainability projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or sales-enabled bidding processes
• Ability to analyse customer requirements and translate into technical and commercial bids
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Develop winning proposals for energy solutions and bids
• Interpret customer requirements and build clear project objectives and technical specs
• Coordinate inputs from customers, suppliers and internal teams for accurate submissions
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Engineering, Commercial and Project Managers to assess risks and conditions
• Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure robust bid support
• Lead reviews, planning, and development of less experienced Proposals Engineers
