Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Energy Manager for OpenBlue in the United Kingdom. You will partner with customers to deliver value across energy efficiency, uptime, and workplace experiences, acting as a key consultant throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, onboarding, and adoption, training users, and sharing resources. Build trusted advisor relationships, monitor usage, and participate in QBRs to drive value and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in HVAC systems, building automation, energy management, facility management, or building maintenance services.
• Hands-on experience with Operational Technologies (OT) in medium to large facilities.
• Experience delivering user training, product demonstrations, and addressing operational questions.
• Excellent communication skills to work with customers or partners at multiple levels.
• Strong enterprise customer relationship management experience.
• Excellent project management and organization to handle multiple customers.
• Ability to lead within a matrix organization.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end customer value for OpenBlue solutions.
• Onboard customers and lead deployment milestones.
• Understand customer personas, use cases, and goals; ask questions to learn challenges.
• Train end users on value framework and success metrics.
• Share product training resources and support processes.
• Validate scope per contract and customer needs.
• Provide guided product tours after delivery.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and monitor usage analytics.
• Schedule regular check-ins (30-60-90 days) and ongoing reviews.
• Gather feedback via NPS and participate in Customer Business Reviews.
