Stantec in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams across energy infrastructure projects from concept through to delivery. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure robust, commercially viable designs that align with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience within the Energy or Power sector.
• Background in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing the design of complex energy infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams from concept to completion.
• Oversee planning, management, and execution of design activities with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage FEED and detailed design activities across energy infrastructure projects (substations, refurbishments, extensions, new-builds).
• Collaborate with technical specialists to integrate engineering solutions and drive high-quality delivery.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to growth of the Energy business.
