Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking an Associate Renewable Energy Design Engineer to join our expanding renewable energy advisory team. You will lead FEED, IE, OE and TA assignments across wind, solar and BESS projects, delivering high-quality technical and commercial outputs for a diverse client base.

You will mentor junior staff, manage multi-project delivery, and use your network to support business development while working in a collaborative hybrid environment across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy project delivery or advisory.
• Experience leading client-facing engagements and teams.
• Strong communication and contract/ risk awareness.
• Degree or equivalent in a related engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver FEED, IE, OE and TA assignments across the project lifecycle.
• Manage project delivery, contracts, schedules, and financial models.
• Conduct site visits, construction monitoring, and due diligence.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings and provide technical oversight.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development.
