Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Renewable Energy Design Engineer to join our UK team. You will lead FEED, IE, OE and TA assignments from concept through construction, covering wind, solar and BESS. You will manage client interactions, risks, and project documentation while mentoring junior staff.

You will be pivotal in expanding our advisory services, with a role that blends technical leadership and stakeholder engagement in a growing, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy project delivery or advisory across IE/OE/TA, development, construction, O&M or M&A.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills for multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEED, IE, OE and TA assignments across project lifecycles.
• Review contracts, schedules, and financial models; support risk and documentation management.
• Lead client meetings with developers, lenders, EPCs and internal teams.
• Oversee pre-FEED and FEED design for wind, solar and BESS projects; lead OE delivery.
