Job summary

SP Electricity North West seeks a Generation Delivery & Compliance Engineer to lead projects connecting distributed generation to the network. You will drive compliance through planning, energisation, and delivery while coordinating with customers, contractors and internal teams.

The role focuses on HV/LV project delivery, G99/G100 compliance, and SCADA/telemetry commissioning with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience managing electrical distribution or construction projects.
• Experience ENA G99 and G100 compliance assessments.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout SP Electricity North West network area.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV and LV distributed generation projects through compliance and connection process.
• Manage day-to-day G99 and G100 project planning activities for successful delivery.
• Provide guidance on G99 and G100 compliance requirements with internal teams.
• Undertake G99 and G100 witness testing and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Carry out SCADA commissioning activities including configuration, testing and validation.
• Complete final site compliance inspections and commissioning sign-off.
• Develop commissioning plans to support project delivery and network connections.
• Analyse HV network operating arrangements and produce generator operating procedures.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of SCADA and telemetry equipment.
• Support completion of BCA Agreements.
