Job summary

Northern Powergrid is seeking Works Coordinators to join the Domestic and Small Business Connections team. Successful candidates will be based at one of our depots, with location confirmed during recruitment. Starting salary is £39,923, with progression to £51,396; 25 days holiday and transport provision are offered.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/5 or above.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in project management in utilities or construction sectors.
• Electrical Engineering background preferred.
• Knowledge of LV/HV networks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage projects safely, on time, within cost and to quality.
• Manage site resources including direct labour and contractors.
• Prioritise workload and identify cost-effective delivery solutions.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to deliver a 10/10 service.
• Support weekly contract meetings with external providers.
• Process payments promptly and accurately.
• Carry out site safety, quality and contractual audits.
