The Wise Group is seeking a Mentor to work with Home Energy Scotland, delivering tailored energy advice by phone, email and in person. You will help households understand energy options, build trust, and guide them through next steps, while forging relationships with partners and communities.

You will support customers, manage a caseload, maintain CRM records and contribute to service improvements, with a flexible home-based role and some regional travel within Strathclyde & Central area.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy advice, welfare, mentoring or another customer-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with customers, community organisations and partners.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and performance information.
• A willingness to learn, develop and keep building your knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide tailored energy advice and support to customers by telephone, email and face to face.
• Help customers understand energy efficiency, heating, renewables and tariffs in a clear and practical way.
• Build positive relationships with customers and support them to make informed choices.
• Represent Home Energy Scotland professionally at community events and partner forums, building relationships that help more households access trusted energy advice.
• Manage your own caseload, maintain accurate CRM records and work towards agreed targets.
• Share customer insight, learning and ideas that help improve customer experience and service quality.
• Support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider Home Energy Scotland team.
