Job summary

The Wise Group is seeking a HES Home Renewables Specialist to support households in making warmer, greener homes. You will deliver tailored energy efficiency advice through home visits and remote support across Strathclyde & Central, building trust and translating complex information into practical recommendations.

You will mentor colleagues, stay current with renewable energy options, and contribute to service quality while working in a hybrid setup centered around the Glasgow Hub.

Qualifications

• Energy efficiency, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies knowledge.
• Degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication to explain technical information clearly.
• Good relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored advice on energy efficiency and renewables through home visits and remote support.
• Help customers understand options and make informed decisions about their homes.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, practical guidance and recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
• Share specialist knowledge by mentoring colleagues across the Home Energy Scotland Advice Team.
• Keep knowledge current and contribute ideas to improve service quality.
