The Wise Group is seeking a Home Renewables Specialist to join the Home Energy Scotland Advice Team. This flexible, home-based role covers Strathclyde and Central areas with regular travel to meet customers, colleagues and partners.

You’ll assess energy options, translate technical information into practical guidance and help households improve comfort and reduce energy use. A relevant degree and City & Guilds qualifications are required, plus a full driving licence.

Qualificações

• Relevant knowledge and experience of energy efficiency, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies.
• A degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Good relationship-building, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using technology and working independently as part of a wider team.
• A willingness to continue learning and developing your technical expertise.
• A full driving licence and daily access to a car are essential. We will consider applications from people who hold a full driving licence but do not currently have access to a car.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tailored advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies through home visits and remote support.
• Help customers understand their options and make informed decisions about their homes.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, practical advice and recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
• Share your specialist knowledge by supporting and mentoring colleagues across the Home Energy Scotland Advice Team.
• Keep your technical knowledge current and contribute ideas that improve customer experience and service quality.
