Job summary

8x8, Inc. is seeking a Senior Endpoint & Security Engineer to be the on‑site technical lead in our London office.

You will own the global endpoint security stack and act as the London site’s hands‑on IT presence, splitting focus between security engineering and office support. You’ll deploy and operationalize MDM, BYOD data containment, ZTNA, and DLP while collaborating with Security on EDR/XDR tuning and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in CS/IT.
• 6+ years in endpoint engineering/security with senior ownership.
• MDM at scale (1,000+ devices) with Addigy/Jamf/Intune or equivalent.
• Endpoint security policy design: DLP, patching, OS hardening, controls.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and ZTNA concepts.
• Willingness to explore AI tools and apply them to work.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end endpoint security strategy, tooling, and governance.
• Lead MDM, BYOD data containment, and Zero Trust posture initiatives.
• Drive deployment, tuning, and incident triage for EDR/XDR solutions.
• Partner with Security to provide audit evidence (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Provide on‑site London office support and equipment provisioning.
