Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Ward Service Coordinator for the Endoscopy department. The role focuses on coordinating non-clinical services to support a high-quality patient experience and seamless ward operations.

The post holder will work with the ward clinical team and nursing staff to maintain the patient environment, deliver supplies, and support the delivery of care. The closing date for applications is 10 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Evidence of Level 2 Maths & English qualifications.
• Evidence of Level 3 qualification in Health/Social Care or Hospitality & Catering, or 2 A levels.
• Evidence of training via Moodle or in-house platforms.
• Care Certificate / Health & Safety knowledge (COSHH).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the ward team to ensure non-clinical services meet patient and ward requirements.
• Assist the clinical manager to maintain the patient environment and services.
• Work with multi-disciplinary team to support direct patient care indirectly.
• Coordinate with the Nurse in charge during the duty span.
