Job summary

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Booking and Referral Coordinator to support the Endoscopy administration team. The role involves coordinating referrals from receipt through to final procedure booking, and managing waiting lists with emphasis on clinical urgency.

You will work closely with consultants, nurses and administrative colleagues to resolve booking queries and ensure timely patient access to Endoscopy services.

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience, preferably within healthcare.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload and respond to patient queries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Endoscopy referrals from receipt through to procedure booking.
• Manage Endoscopy waiting lists and prioritise by clinical urgency.
• Schedule appointments balancing clinical priority, patient choice and capacity.
• Liaise with consultants, nurses and admin staff to resolve booking queries.
