Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Booking Clerk / Receptionist to join the Endoscopy Unit. This Band 2 role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a Monday to Saturday pattern and salary of £25,272 per annum.

The successful candidate will provide the first point of contact for patients scheduling appointments, delivering a friendly and efficient service. Applicants should be able to manage bookings accurately, communicate clearly and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• To ensure an effective and efficient booking service is provided within the Endoscopy Unit.
• To provide the first point of contact for patients attending the unit and wishing to schedule their appointments, presenting a friendly and efficient image.

Responsibilities

• Provide booking services and reception duties within the Endoscopy Unit.
• Offer a courteous and professional first point of contact for patients arranging appointments.
