Job summary

InHealth is expanding its endoscopy team in Birmingham and seeks a Healthcare Support Worker to assist with patient care on site. You will welcome patients, support privacy and dignity, and handle equipment with care while reporting issues to senior staff.

You will work a full-time pattern (4 days) with weekend flexibility, contributing to a high standard of service and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Training and development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Interest and experience in delivering patient-centred care.
• Good understanding of health and safety and infection control.
• Flexible for working patterns to meet site requirements.
• Commitment to continuous professional learning and up-skilling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the clinic and advocate for privacy and dignity.
• Clean, monitor and tidy equipment; report problems.
• Record and convey relevant patient information to seniors.
• Deliver patient care per the care plan set by the Senior Nurse.
• Maintain effective communications with patients and multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and uphold high standards of care.
