Job summary

Circle Health Group at Chelsfield Park Hospital (Kent) is seeking an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner for a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. Salary up to £44,000 depending on experience.

You will lead the Endoscopy Unit, ensure adherence to HTM 01-06 and JAG standards, and coordinate peri-procedural care with clinical governance. The post requires NMC or HCPC registration, endoscopy qualifications, and extensive leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Senior Registered Practitioner in endoscopy or equivalent.
• Experience in pain management and conscious sedation.
• Experience with governance and audits.
• Experience collaborating with Consultants to improve services and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Endoscopy Unit.
• Provide quality planned care for patients during peri-procedure care with clinical supervision and managerial leadership.
• Implement best practice standards (HTM 01-06, Royal College guidelines, GRS, JAG) in endoscopy service delivery.
• Develop and support business initiatives, policies and strategies to improve service delivery.
• Responsible for the departmental decontamination programme for flexible endoscopes.
• Participate in completing departmental risk assessments, COSHH assessments and action plans.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
