Job summary

Circle Health Group in Chelsfield Park Hospital, Orpington, is seeking an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner for a full-time role (37.5 hours). The position offers a salary “Up to £44,000 per year” and requires flexible shift coverage.

You will lead the Endoscopy Unit, uphold HTM 01-06 standards, and drive service improvements. Applicants should have senior practitioner experience in endoscopy, NMC/HCPC registration, and teaching or mentorship qualifications.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Practitioner with NMC or HCPC.
• Experience and training in endoscopy care and decontamination.
• Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications.
• Knowledge of HTM 01-06, Royal College guidelines, GRS, JAG.
• I LS experience in endoscopy settings.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate and assist in management and organisation of care within the Endoscopy Unit.
• Deliver quality peri-procedure patient care under supervision and leadership.
• Implement best practice standards in endoscopy service delivery.
• Develop and support business initiatives, policies and strategies to improve service.
• Adhere to the departmental decontamination programme for flexible endoscopes.
• Complete risk assessments and implement action plans addressing risk.
• Comply with mandatory training.
