Job summary

Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent, part of Circle Health Group, seeks an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join the Endoscopy department on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) with a flexible shift pattern. The role focuses on coordinating care, clinical supervision, and driving service standards.

The ideal candidate will have senior endoscopy experience, registration with NMC/HCPC, and strong governance, audit, and mentorship capabilities to enhance patient outcomes and service quality across

Qualifications

• Senior Practitioner experience in an endoscopy service.
• Experience in pain management and care of deteriorating patients.
• Experience in clinical governance and audit.
• Ability to apply clinical reasoning across varied patient cases.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate care within the Endoscopy Unit.
• Provide supervision and leadership during peri-procedure care.
• Implement best practice standards (HTM 01-06, GRS, JAG).
• Develop policies and initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Adhere to decontamination programmes for flexible endoscopes.
• Carry out risk and COSHH assessments and action plans.
• Complete mandatory training as required.
