Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a supervisor to oversee the Endoscopy Decontamination Units across hospital sites. You will balance staffing, monitor SLAs, and record non-conformances in Trust databases while supporting the technician team with hands-on decontamination when required.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and knowledge of decontamination standards, with NHS setting experience preferable.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• IT literacy with Word and Excel proficiency.
• Evidence of leadership or supervisory training or willingness to complete in post.
• Professional qualification in Decontamination or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of Endoscopy Decontamination Units across the Trust.
• Balance staffing levels across shifts and monitor SLAs adherence.
• Record non-conformances on Trust databases and act on findings.
• Provide hands-on decontamination support as needed and ensure quality standards.
