Job summary

Trinity Claims is seeking a Ground Movement Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of subsidence and ground movement claims from first notification through to settlement. You will act as the single point of ownership for customers, ensuring compliant, accurate claim outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience handling household insurance claims, subsidence/ground movement strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to review and interpret technical reports and supporting evidence.

Responsibilities

• Manage an end-to-end portfolio of Ground Movement claims from notification to settlement.
• Assess policy coverage, validate evidence and apply policy terms to determine liability.
• Review geological and engineering reports to determine cause of damage and appropriate claim outcome.
• Instruct and manage suppliers including engineers, surveyors and repair contractors.
• Maintain claim reserves and authorise payments within delegated authority.
• Negotiate settlements balancing customer outcomes with cost control.
